Thought of the Day—Are you resistant to change? I’m not talking about change for change sake but for an outcome, a purpose. Many folks are afraid of change for various reasons including the fear of the unknown. But if we refuse to grow and change, how can God possibly use us for His intended purpose? It’s as if we would rather just be content to lazily crawl around like little fuzzy caterpillars, eating everything in sight with our ravenous appetites instead of allowing the dramatic change necessary to become the beautiful butterflies of which we were destined. What is God asking you to change to initiate YOUR metamorphosis?

Thought of the Day—We can all learn from nature…for it has an inherent need to survive and thrive despite its’ desperate conditions. Humans on the other hand, have a tendency to have a total meltdown if their coffee order is messed up…We need to be content in all circumstances and trust that God knows our needs and what is best for us, even when we seem to be between a rock and a hard place…

Thought of the Day—We are all broken in one way or another.  Sometimes God chooses to heal us physically, emotionally or spiritually.  But sometimes He chooses to apply enough grace and strength in our lives to shine through despite our circumstances.  We need to learn to stop squirming around on His examination table like spoiled children and trust His hands so we can accept the mercy that God freely anoints us…

funhouse mirror

Thought of the Day—It seems as if we have trouble with perception versus reality anymore and it doesn’t help when we have to discern between facts and “enhanced” facts, whether it be seen or heard on the news or social media.  Enhanced facts simply means the truth may be spun toward a particular view or slant and/or important facts are merely left out.  Perception is looking into a fun house mirror that elongates the body and believing you are thin; reality is stepping into your closet and knowing you’re not.  Be careful what you see, hear and ultimately believe…
