Thought of the Day–4/15/18
Thought of the Day—How many times have you slid behind the wheel and expected to get to your destination…without turning over the ignition and putting the car in drive? Sounds pretty silly, doesn’t it? It’s the same way with being in God’s will; sometimes (many times) you have to step out in faith…it takes action on our part…and you won’t truly be where you need to be until you take that first…step…forward…
Thought of the Day–4/14/18
Thought of the Day—It is simply incomprehensible to think that One so holy could take the place of one so unworthy…call it love…call it grace…call Him Jesus…
Thought of the Day–4/13/18
Thought of the Day—Do you have times when you struggle with self-esteem so you go to your local Walmart and stroll around to people watch until you feel better about yourself? Are those snickers and eye rolls? If you answered yes, you may have more than just a self-esteem issue; you may have a judgmental one. It is so tempting at times to compare ourselves with others who aren’t in our “class” or standing and we write them off with a wave of our mental hand. But in all honesty, we are the true “bottom feeders” if we stoop so low and are so shallow as to judge by glance. After all, who are we except perhaps one job away from welfare, one chronic illness away from poverty, or one accident away from mental impairment? Here’s another thought; Jesus came from and mingled with “the least of these”. Who are we to give anything else but compassion to others? We need to pray for new eyes to see others as God sees them; His blessed creation. Come to think of it, that’s exactly how He sees us. Kind of boosts the old self-esteem, don’t you think?

Thought of the Day—A moment of hesitation is worth far more than a lifetime of remorse. Stop, drop and pray before you act…
Thought of the Day–4/11/18
Thought of the Day—Do you have a case of the wandering eye when it comes to other people’s lives? Did you know that the time and energy spent on wishing you had someone else’s life could have been better spent on improving your own? God gave you a unique set of people, geography, and circumstances to help make you who YOU should be, not someone else. And even though there may be a few weeds to pull and perhaps a little grass seed to sow in the dry patches of life’s lawn, just remember; the only reason that grass looks greener on the other side is probably because it’s only artificial astro turf…
Thought of the Day–4/10/18
Thought of the Day—Of all the four letter words being thrown around these days, I think “HOME” is my favorite…
Thought of the Day–4/9/18
Thought of the Day—In this age of complete self absorption, encountering a person with the attitude of gratitude is like stumbling upon a refreshing oasis in a parched desert; it’s a rare find and you find the entire experience intoxicating. Wouldn’t it be great to find more people with such an attitude? Are YOU up to the challenge?
Thought of the Day–4/8/18
Thought of the Day—ATTITUDE—a little three syllable word that can either put wind in your sails or sink your ship. It can control your mind and your tongue…ATTITUDE…are you controlling yours or is it controlling you?
Thought of the Day–4/7/18
Thought of the Day—Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should—it’s true in life, love, liquor, lying, leggings and man buns…yeah…definitely man buns…
