Thought of the Day–1/13/18
Thought of the Day—“Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.” Psalm 37:8. Easier said than done but many times when we are in so much turmoil, we can’t hear God speaking to us. Satan uses this tactic all of the time whether it is from the social media or in our private lives. We need to somehow take the time to “be still and know that I am God”, to listen for His guidance and to ignore outside negative influences…John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Be still and know…

Thought of the Day—“I sure would like another pay cut”, said no one…ever. Why do we short change ourselves when it comes to God’s resources? He will provide our needs if we would only ask Him…Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Thought of the Day—God’s love was shown and Hope was born for us on Christmas Day! May peace reign in your lives as you celebrate the Christ child this Christmas…happy birthday, Jesus!
Thought of the Day–12/24/17

Thought of the Day—As we enter the eve before Christmas, let us remember that it matters not what lies beneath the tree as much as what lies in our hearts. A heart full of thankfulness for our one perfect gift–Jesus, a heart full of love for our family and friends and a heart full of joy in anticipation of being with those you love…that is what the Spirit of Christmas is all about…
Thought of the Day–12/16/17

Thought of the Day—Jesus isn’t the reason for the season…we are…For if sin had not entered into this world and if we were not in such a desperate state of need, there would be no need for a Savior to save us from our sins…but here we are, with that very need. So we, the receivers of God’s most perfect gift, celebrate the gift of Jesus this season and we worship God the Father for His perfect love for us! John 3:16-17 (NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Thought of the Day–12/1/17

Thought of the Day—As we transition from the season of thanks to the season of giving, we need to continue to be in an attitude of thanksgiving. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

Thought of the Day—Do you want to know a secret? There are no secrets with God; He knows everything we’ve done and said anyway…it’s just a matter of being real with Him and confessing what He already knows. Don’t you think our human relationships would go a little smoother if we were more open and honest with others? I’m not talking about brute force honesty but speaking out truth in love…
Thought of the Day–11/7/17

Thought of the Day—It may take a village to raise a child, but that doesn’t give anyone the permission to abandon their children in the village square. We need to once again cherish and treat our children as they really are; a precious gift from God, an eternal soul entrusted to our care, the next generation in a pint sized form. They are not someone else’s responsibility, your best friend in training or constant irritant…they are a reminder from God to us that we too, still need to find the wonderment in the everyday, what it means to once again enjoy the essence of innocence in trusting others, to possess a colored blind heart… Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
