Thought of the Day–3/12/18

Footprints

Thought of the Day—I love sitting on a deserted beach, just staring out at the horizon, for it pretty much puts life in perspective.  The relentless sea breeze tosses the hair and pulls at your clothing while the rhythmic cadence of the surf licking at the shoreline fills the senses.  It is liberating, intoxicating and at the same time humbling.  For it is at that very moment in time, regardless of your position or wealth or status on this earth, you are simply a human, a larger speck on this endless sandy shore; the creature, enjoying all that the Creator has created.  And when I leave this place, the encroaching surf erases all traces of my existence, including my footprints…as if I was never there…But know this; you WERE created for a reason, unique, one of a kind and for this particular time and place.  Isn’t it time you begin living the life God intended you to live? For He loves you like no other…can you say the same?

Thought of the Day–3/8/18

Thought of the Day—I wonder what would happen if we tried to spend more time with God and less time spent on making more friends and likes on one of the social networking sites?  As important as friends are, friends and followers WILL come and go; we can’t afford to have a nonchalant prayer life and we can’t tweet our way to Heaven…Can I get a Like and Share? (just kidding…)

Thought of the Day–2/15/18

Thought of the Day—Have you ever tried on someone else’s glasses and attempted to see clearly?  Everything seemed fuzzy and out of focus even though in reality what you were attempting to focus in on was as it had always been.  Sometimes that’s what it seems like when it comes to the will of God.  We just can’t see the bigger picture clearly or in proper perspective.  That’s where faith steps in; to trust in what we cannot see clearly or at all…

The traveler

Thought of the Day—If we could flip through the journal of our lives, every page would be filled with underlines where grace prevailed and asterisks where mercy was applied.

Thought of the Day–2/1/18

Thought of the Day—God gave us the spark of life but Satan has been tempting us ever since. God is all about light, life and love. Discern the spirits; if it’s anything other than those three qualities enticing you, chances are it’s the great deceiver…rebuke him in the name of Jesus!!

Thought of the Day–1/30/18

Thought of the Day—Hold on to hope—hope for another tomorrow, hope that we please God, hope that one day we will indeed see God but hope that day won’t come too soon; for where there’s life, there’s hope. And as a result, hope can bring about peace…and isn’t that what we need more of right about now…peace?

Thought of the Day–1/28/18

Dark Clouds

Thought of the Day—Even though the storm clouds hang low and appear threatening, the sun still shines above those clouds. Just like the One who knows you best and loves you most; He’s been there all along…
