Thought of the Day—“If I had it to do all over again…” I’m sure we’ve either said or heard that statement before; it is the anthem of regret. It could be a past regret about anything from kids, marriage, education, drugs to a career choice. But guess what? You can’t change it; it’s in your past locked behind thick stone walls and a mighty mahogany door. And while you may find a twisted comfort in your painful memories of past regret and remorse, it’s time to let it go and forgive. Forgive yourself, forgive the others that were involved in the situation. Stop trying to mentally rewrite the script; just do a one eighty and step away…You deserve more in your present and future than a regurgitated past…

Thought of the Day–3/7/18
Thought of the Day—Did you know there is a huge difference between the words childish and childlike? Sure, all the characteristics of those two words are incorporated into the life and personality of a child but in an adult, the contrast is striking. To be childish as an adult has everything to do with self and nothing to do with responsibility; it’s an “I want” mentality that has far reaching consequences. To be childlike, however, is to embrace being an adult in addition to having a keen sense of wonderment of life and trust in others, of having an unwavering faith. It sometimes comes down to loving life as opposed to just living life. How about you? Are you walking around, disgruntled with life because it’s not going your way or are you caught up in the magic of ordinary days?
Thought of the Day–3/6/18
Thought of the Day—Do you want to have some fun today? Pick up a rock and throw it! I don’t mean in a literal sense like at a passerby or your neighbor’s cat but into the placid pond of humanity called your circle of influence. You know how, when a stone is tossed into a tranquil pond, the ripples start from the point of entry and keep edging outward? That stone represents an act of kindness delivered to another; we never really know how much that one act has the same ripple effect to positively influence the lives of others. That stone could represent the gift of time, a prayer lifted up, a card sent, a phone call made, picking up someone’s tab or simply giving a hug to someone you know is going through something difficult right now. I think you get the idea. And better yet, pick up a few pebbles at one time, toss them in and watch what happens…ripples in a pond…love in action…pick up a rock and toss it…today!
Thought of the Day–3/2/18
Thought of the Day—One of God’s greatest gifts is to have a clarity of purpose, to run unhindered toward the goal God has instilled in your heart. Unfortunately, we have a tendency to sabotage our own lives to the extent of filling our days with ambiguous nonsense that leaves us paralyzed and useless. Here’s to getting back up and continuing the journey; forgive the friend or loved one, forgive yourself, ask for forgiveness, pray that God WILL give you enough strength for each day…and move on…

Thought of the Day–2/24/18
Thought of the Day—Isn’t it funny how much we talk about love but how little we actually practice it? For love is an action word and not a spectator sport; we need to become a participant and start taking action. How will you show love to someone today?
Thought of the Day–2/17/18
Thought of the Day—We take so much for granted in our lives, from our next breath to our right to say what is on our mind. Somewhere along the way, we have lost the wonder and magic of an ordinary day as it unfolds. Today, make sure you appreciate everything that transpires around you; for there could be a nice surprise in your mailbox or the surprise gift of time with a friend on the phone. Life is precious; don’t make it a drudgery…

Thought of the Day—Flip through the scrapbook of your life and stop at the blank pages. Which snapshot had the most impact on you and why?

Thought of the Day—A kind word is a delectable morsel to the palate of the heart and a smile can lift the spirit of the soul. Neither effort costs anything but can mean everything to the recipient…
